Llangennech gave their squad a run out against Swansea First Division outfit Llangyfelach at Bryngwyn. The 4-1 defeat was no disgrace with many players showing they can push for first team places this season.
Dai Thomas scored the goal for Llangennech, giving them the lead 10 minutes into the match. Some good wing play by Nick Jones gave Thomas the chance to shoot. When his shot was saved, Tom Ballard followed up but hit the post before the ball fell back to Thomas who also hit the post but this time the ball landed behind the line.
