Despite leading by two goals Llan could only manage a draw against fellow Division two side Llan Rads. Llan started brilliantly with a goal from Tom Harris after just five minutes after a slick passing move down the left hand side before the ball was squared to Harris who struck the ball low into the far corner.
The situation worsened for Llan Rads as the lead was doubled midway through the first half. Tom Harris' low corner skipped through for Tom Harcourt to shoot, and his strike eventually went in off Steffan Cook. However Llan's two goal lead was quickly reduced two minutes into the second half through a sloppy goal. A couple of ricochets on the edge of the Llangennech area gave a Llan Rads midfielder a shot on goal and he found the inside of the near post to score with a low shot.
Ten minutes later the game was level when Llan Rads' left winger headed in the equaliser unmarked at the far post. Neither side could find a winner in the reminder of the match and it ended 2-2. A win required Saturday for Llan to have any chance of progressing further.
